Driving
Role Description
As a volunteer driver you will be trained to transport our service users in a sensitive, professional and safe manner, to their Families First activities. We would love to hear from you if you have an hour or two to spare each week.
Key Tasks
- Drivers must have a full clean driving license and be able to have business use included on their car insurance certificante
- Drivers should be confident in communicating with children who have additional support needs.
- Our volunteer drivers tend to help out in late afternoons and early evenings, you will also need to commit additional time for supervision, training and briefing sessions.
- Volunteers will be supported to follow Families First Child and Adult protection procedures.
- All drivers will be reimbursed for their out of pocket expenses
