As a volunteer in the Young People’s Services you will be supporting children and young people in our youth groups, holiday activities and schools work.
The Young People’s Services focuses on group activities to create opportunities for children and young people to work and socialise together in a positive way. We work with them to reduce isolation and develop their skills in team work and communication. If you like to be part of a team and work with others, this could be the role for you.
Key Tasks
Young People's Service volunteers need to be willing to commit to a minimum of two hours a week, although this can be flexible, plus additional time for for supervision, training and briefing sessions
Young People's Service volunteers must strive to be a positive non-judgemental role model for children and help them become responsible citizens.
Volunteers will be supported to follow Families First Child and Adult protection procedures.
